Course Objective

How do you program for those living with dementia, and have short attention spans? How do you program for a group when you need to interest many different people? Stacked programming is the answer. Stacked programming uses short presentations of many different types of programming in order to provide for structured re-socialization, light exercise, sensory stimulation and constructive use of leisure time. This session will help you identify resources, show practical ways to engage people one to one within groups, and help you to identify the outcomes of this type of programming.
